Diabetes causes 1 death every Seven Seconds and two new persons are diagnosed as diabetic in Seven Seconds. Every year it is estimated that 3.2 million people in the world die due to Diabetes or its related causes. The major cause of increase in the incidence of Diabetes is a sedentary lifestyle.

Yashfeen Trust has been successfully accredited with Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) Seal of NPO Good Practice. PCP Certification helps building a credible pool of nonprofits that are reliable and effective development partners.

The first free Diabetic Clinic had been set up in January 2012 in I-9 Markaz , Islamabad and has treated more than 500 patients in five months by providing the following facilities:

- Free Diabetic Check up (500 patients).
- Free Medicines given to (390 patients).
- Free Insulin given to (143 patients).
- Free Glucometers to (30 patients).
- Free Sugar Strips to (30 patients)
